Dear Professor Marrus,

Through every path I’ve taken so far, I’ve learned that I have a desire to teach children. It is an aspiration of mine to become a teacher because I want to inspire children to learn and gain the knowledge in what I have to offer. I am confident that my professional hands on experience in CPC-124 Confucius Plaza Daycare at the Yung Wing School will certainly contribute and maintain the importance of my goal in becoming a certified teacher one day.

“To dream anything that you want to dream. That’s the beauty of the human mind.

To do anything that you want to do. That is the strength of the human will.

To trust yourself to test your limits. That is the courage to succeed.”  (Bernard Edmonds)

From my experience at Confucius Plaza Daycare, I learned that with music children enjoyed it and were more motivated in their work ethics. Music is an essential part of our lives and it is relevant to have music and movements during our annual show for the CPC Summer Program.

During this semester, I hope to learn more ways to help motivate children to learn. Most importantly, I want to incorporate music and movement within my lesson plans. I believe that music can help children learn more effectively.

As a Professional, I believe learning should be fun and motivating. I am positive that I would want to learn more ways to teach music and movement. Music and movement is beneficial to all children and adults.

Thank you for your time.

Your student,

Olivia Chak
