Hello, my name is Olivia Chak. I'm currently an Alumni at Kingsborough Community College and I majored in Educational Studies. I'm currently attending Brooklyn College for the Spring of 2015. In this portfolio, you will see the supporting evidence of the courses I have taken over the last two years while completing my Associates degree with a Concentration in Grades K to 6th. You will also find my Educational Philosophy. My interest in becoming a teacher started at an early age because of the love and care I received as a child from my teachers. As a teacher, I hope to provide young children with the safety, confidence and comfort they all seek so that they may grow to be confident independent individuals who aspire to be the change they wish to see in the world.
