I have learned about…

I have learned that culture is very important when structuring a class. All cultures should be acknowledging so all children feel like they belong. Having children feel comfortable where they remain for most of the day should be or have some acknowledgement of their home. In the culture component, I related to some of the stereotypes and have also witnessed some of the wrongs learned in the culture component. Many times teachers draw lines between students according to what they believe a student belong. Of those many times teachers are wrong about a student. Going through this component has given me a new thinking mode when structuring my class in the future.
