• Physical development “…incorporates gross motor, fine motor and spatial orientation ability.”
• Intellectual (or cognitive), “… is the domain that addresses language and literacy, mathematical thinking, scientific thinking and social studies.”
• Emotional – to do with feelings, self-esteem, self concept, attitudes
• Social – quality of interactions with others, competency to manage in a group, satisfaction derived from interactions with others
