"Ladybug Science Activity"

Title : Life cycle of a Ladybug(science)
Grade: Kindergarten
Objective: The children will be able to learn new vocabulary, and also
learn the four stages of a ladybug. The children will also be able to
communicate, observe, and also predict how the ladybug is develop.

Step 1: Gather a small group of children into the learning area.

Step 2: Introduce two books about ladybugs.

Step 3: Introduce the ladybug life cycle

Step 4: Have the children predict how ladybugs form.

Step 5: Slowly point show the children the four stages and read each

stage so the children will understand how a ladybug is develop.

Step 6: Ask the children questions about the four stages.

Step 7: After the activity teach the children new vocabulary but using
the ladybug stages.

Step 8: Create an art activity to see if the children have learned how
the ladybugs develop.Learning about ladybugs and the four stages can help the children understand more about the ladybug by using vocabulary words snd pictures to help them have a better understanding how ladybugs are form. Also the children will also be able to use their motor skills, and fine skills to helpthem with this activity. As well as communication with their peers.
