Topic: Five little monkeys
 
Objective: Students will be able to follow a sequence of patterns created by the class as a group during the song.
 
Materials: Our bodies
 
Procedure:
1)Ask children if they know the Five little monkeys and ask a child to demonstrate in case some children don’t know.
2)Discuss what body parts we want to use and in what order to use them. Ex- first we will put our right hand in, then we will put our right foot in, etc.
3) We will counted up to five and tell the kids they should remember what comes next.
 
Questions: I will review with the kids about the sequence of the moves so they will understand. After the song I will ask if it was hard to remember How many monkeys were left. If it wasn’t then we will make it more difficult by adding more moves to remember.
