Math Activity(Planting)
2. Children are ages:4 &5 years old. Their were four children that participated in the math activity.
3. The activity was taking place in the classroom.
4. Materials: A small group of children, a quiet area(classroom),pencil, and the math activity.
5. Lesson: Math
*The Children will be able to count the dot on the flower pedals and trace the matching number to the right pedal.
* The objective for this math activity is to help the children gain the ability to learn how to count numbers from 1-6 , and also teach the children the proper way to right the numberd by tracing the numbers on the flower pedals.
*Physically: Children develops their fine motor skills when they learning how to trace and count numbers
Intellectually: The children will be able tp learn the parts of the flower and the trace numbers.
Emotionally: The children will be able to learn how to count numbers and will also develop a better understanding on how to write numbers.
Socially: The children will be able to communicate with their peers about the numbers on the flower pedals.
* The two common core stranded for this math activity is the Domain 5: Cognition and knowledge of the World:, Know numbers names and the count sequence, and counting numbers.
